Welcome to November 1, 2026, and Happy Sunday!
There is something so refreshing about the arrival of a new month, especially when it marks the finish line of an intense, heart-stirring creative marathon.
A Massive Milestone: The Draft is Done!
I am thrilled to share some wonderful news: I officially crossed the finish line of my October 31-Day Writing Challenge with a full first draft manuscript of my memoir in hand!
Putting your life onto the page—revisiting memories, honoring the steps that brought you here, and giving words to the journey—is never easy. This challenge definitely didn’t come without its fair share of daily frustrations, unexpected distractions, and moments where staring at a blank screen felt daunting. But by God’s grace, gentle guidance, and steady strength, I was able to push past every hurdle and see it through to the final period. Holding a complete first draft is a feeling unlike any other, and my heart is overflowing with gratitude.
What’s Next: Stepping Into a Whole New Story World
With the memoir draft safely resting before revisions begin, I’m not hitting pause on the creative momentum. In fact, I am turning the page toward a long-held dream: my very first Christian Romance Universe!
This series is dear to my heart. It is being built around a vibrant, tender, and beautifully complex cast of characters who are ready to learn, love, stumble, and grow their way right into our hearts. We’ll be walking alongside them through real-life struggles, deep faith journeys, messy domestic moments, and the quiet beauty of redemption.
The pieces are all falling into place behind the scenes, and the official unveiling of the final, decided-upon titles will be coming very soon—so definitely stay tuned!
The Big Countdown: May 2028
As one chapter closes and another opens creatively, the calendar keeps moving forward in our personal lives too. The countdown to our big relocation to New Mexico is steadily ticking away toward our set date of May 2028.
Every milestone reached—every finished chapter, every lesson learned, and every intentional quiet morning—feels like another gentle step preparing our hearts and home for the southwest horizon awaiting us under those wide, open skies.
Thank you so much for following along on this journey, for your encouragement, and for sharing in these milestones with me. Here’s to stepping boldly into November with fresh energy, grateful hearts, and inspired pens!
Hugs and Kisses! xoxo
